My sister asked me recently for a few outfits for spring/summer she could lean on. She wanted a mix of options for her lifestyle and a few things to transition to summer. It made me think about the outfits I have been reaching for without thinking for my day-to-day.
Each of these started with one key piece and I built from there. Nothing overly styled, just wearable outfits that work for the warmer weather coming in.
Feminine Blouse + Fancy Utility Pant
I wore this outfit to a work lunch. I wanted to feel a little more feminine without being too dressed up. I started with this Attersee blouse and went from there. It wraps around, and you can tie it in the front or back, bow or knot. It felt like the right balance of polished and soft.
These Attersee utility trousers I just got and have been eyeing for awhile, they’re a great fit, the fabric is amazing, they have the right amount of shine to them.
In a perfect world, I would have worn it with this navy suede Métier bag that I am actually dying for. I love navy and black always, but this contrast with the navy suede mixed with all-black I am really into.
Pleated Skirt + Simple Tank
This outfit is just a good way to do a hot summer day  when you want to be a little bit feminine, but still casual and effortless. And I love it done in a brown and black combo with a nice cashmere tank. The La Ligne skirt fits so well! The pleats lay flat and are fitted across the waist, very flattering and effortless.
I’m Rue de Verneuil’s biggest fan and I’ve been eyeing this black tote for summer, and this really good gold Lié Studio necklace is on sale!

Sky Blue Dress + Tomato Red Sandal
I threw in a little color! I love to play with unexpected color combos. This one feels so right for summer without being too Americana. The beaded necklace against golden skin would make the whole thing feel beachy and more relaxed.
Tailored Pant + Knit Tee
This one leans a little more work. I always lean on a knit or more substantial tee, this one I’m wearing is Rosetta Getty. I really like this option from Theory. I always love a super high-waisted, structured pant and a great leg hang.
These Tory Burch flats have a gold medallion on the toe (unexpectedly chic- and also made me nostalgic for the flats in the early aughts) and my old Loewe Flamenco bag. They don’t make this size anymore, which is too bad because I really love it.
This perfectly lightweight leather bag from Loewe seems like my next laptop bag. And I always need to bring a top layer if I’m going into the office.

See you next week,
xo
Ali
Ok, problem here. Ali, what white t shirt with my Highsports?
Love a blue and red combo! Also curious about those cute sandals you’re wearing in the top pic.
