Fall/Winter Part Deux
My unexpected easy west bag, the fall colors I'm styling with my existing wardrobe, and the bomber that isn't leather.
The past few weeks have finally started to feel like fall. Not so much because of the weather (though the mornings and nights do have a little chill here in LA), but because there’s a reason to get dressed again. LA always feels a little delayed—slower in every sense—but that “back-to-school” feeling eventually finds its way in. By October, work events pick up, friends make plans, and that first itch for layers and a closed-toe shoe starts to hit.
A couple months ago, I shared my Fall/Winter 2025 Look Ahead post with the idea that I’d follow it up with a part two. I started writing this one thinking it would be something along the lines of my “Everyday Uniform Lately” when I realized I was actually hitting all the notes from my Fall/Winter Look Ahead part 1. My alignment with myself impressed myself! Since that first post, I’ve added a few trends into my wardrobe, a piece or two I’ve been wanting for a very long time, and styled some new color combos into the mix. I also finally found my version of the east west bag (hint: it’s oversized). I love when I get into the swing of dressing for a new season, it’s a settling feeling that makes getting dressed fun again.
